Paolo Polinori is part of WP6 in the MORE4WATER project.

He is a Full Professor of Economics at the University of Perugia (Department of Economics), specializing in environmental and energy economics, regulatory economic. He holds: Master in Agricultural Economics and Policy at University of Naple – Federico II and PhD in Agricultural Economics at University of Molise. His research focuses on regulatory economics, electricity markets, energy and environmental economics, transport economics, industrial economics and agrifood systems. 

He has contributed to major international and national research projects, including the MORE4WATER project, the PRIN2022 GreenGO - GREEN COMPETITIVENESS FOR A STRONGER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE ITALIAN ECONOMY – and the PRIN 2022 PNRR CHEWIE -WELL-BEING, HUMANISM AND CIVIL ECONOMY-; 2017 Rural Development Plan (PI): RE-FOOD -Food innovation and reformulation for a healthier”-. 

He actively collaborates with several association in: the energy sector (Elettricità Futura - the leading Association of the national electric power industrial supply chain); the agrifood sector (ISMEA – Institute of Services for the Agricultural Food Market; INIPA - Training Association of the Coldiretti); the public sector (ANCI.cnc -National Association of Italian Municipalities- and IFEL -Institute for Finance and Local Economy) providing technical-scientific consultancy and innovative solutions. 

He has been Member of the Administrative Board of the AIEE – the Italian affiliate of the International Association for Energy Economics. 

He serves as energy advisory and consultant in Associations, Foundations and Consulting Groups.
