An additional case study, Trieste Pressure Management Area (PMA), has been added to the project. This pilot system focuses on pressure control, which is implemented through a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) installed at the network inlet. Within this framework, high-frequency monitoring plays a crucial role in studying and assessing the effectiveness of pressure control.
Although not included in the initial proposal, this new pilot represents a valuable case study, as effective and well-planned pressure management is a key tool for enhancing network resilience and reducing water losses.
